Crown Center and Kansas City Bier Company announced today plans for KC Oktoberfest, a two-day festival celebrating authentic Bavarian-style bier, food, entertainment, and family-friendly activities, October 5-6, 2018, at Crown Center.
Modeled after the traditional Munich Oktoberfest in Germany, this collaboration will feature world-class music and entertainment, delicious menus crafted after the genuine tastes of Bavaria, and family-friendly games and activities within the grand festival setting of Crown Center, one of Kansas City’s most renowned entertainment venues.
“We’re excited to bring Oktoberfest to Crown Center,” said Steve Holle, KC Bier Company’s founder and managing partner. “Our Oktoberfest has outgrown its space at our brewery and the chance to work with Crown Center is one we couldn’t pass up. Kansas City and the Midwest were widely settled by German immigrants, and we want to celebrate that heritage by providing a true Oktoberfest experience with authentic Bavarian-style bier, food and music.”
“Crown Center has a rich event history and is one of Kansas City’s premier family-friendly entertainment venues,” said Crown Center President Stacey Paine. “KC Oktoberfest is a cultural celebration that has all the makings of a local and regional attraction. Crown Center is thrilled to be home to this new signature event.”
General admission tickets and packages for KC Oktoberfest will go on sale in late spring, and include VIP opportunities, hotel packages and more. For information on the festival and to stay up to date on new developments, visit www.KCOktoberfest.com and follow @KCOktoberfest on Twitter and Facebook.
