The Bierhalle & Biergarten at Kansas City Bier Company is offering limited seating and service while local ordinances are in place due to COVID-19. When operating, our primary concern is the health and safety of our employees and guests while also complying with city, state and federal regulations and recommendations. An outline of our reopening plan is provided below.
Table Service in the Bierhalle & Biergarten
- Hours of Operation: Tuesday – Thursday, 3-9 pm; Friday, 3-10 pm; Saturday, 12-10 pm; Sunday, 12-9 pm
- No Minors. Due to our limited capacity, only guests 21 and over will be permitted.
- No dogs
- No brewery tours
- No reservations
- Parking: KC Bier Co. lot or Happy Bottoms lot, except in spaces designated “Bier To Go”
- Seating: Please do not seat yourself. Upon arriving, please check in with the hostess/host at the main entrance, who will collect your contact information and seat you indoors or outdoors, depending on your preference and availability.
- Service: Table service only (no self-service) until KCMO mandated seating capacity limitations and social distancing requirements are lifted.
- Per KCMO ordinance, standing and bar seating are not permitted at this time. Please stay seated unless you are going to the restroom.
- If you are sitting in the Biergarten, you may access the restroom by entering the Bierhalle through the east door from the Biergarten deck.
- Normal selection of bier and soft drinks available
- Kitchen is closed, however, per standard Biergarten rules, you are permitted to bring in outside food to the Biergarten only or have it delivered to the Biergarten only.
Bottled Bier, Growlers and Merchandise To Go
- Hours of Operation: Tuesday – Thursday, 3-9 pm; Friday, 3-10 pm; Saturday, 12-10 pm; Sunday, 12-9 pm
- Available for purchase: Six packs and cases of KC Bier Co bottles; growler fills; apparel and merchandise
- Growler Fills: Due to our limited capacity and available staff, it will take a little more time to sanitize, exchange and refill growlers, and process transactions. We appreciate your patience! Please note we will accept exchanges for KC Bier Co. growlers only. No matter the brand, we’ll thoroughly sanitize your growler before filling and sending you on your way!
Safety Notes:
- Help us protect our employees and customers by refraining from entering our establishment if you have been exposed to COVID-19 recently, have symptoms as identified by the CDC, or have underlying health conditions.
- Respect and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
- Utilize the provided hand sanitizer located throughout the Bierhalle and Biergarten.
- Our staff is required to wear PPE and regularly sanitizes all commonly used surfaces.
- We will collect contact information from all customers seated in the Bierhalle and Biergarten, per recommendation of the city of Kansas City, Missouri. All data will remain confidential and will be used only to address public health concerns and contact individuals who may have been exposed to COVID-19.
