Please note the following FAQs:
- What do I do upon arrival? Please check in with host to indicate your seating preference and provide contact information for our waitlist [when applicable]. Please do not seat yourself.
- Are children allowed? Children of all ages are allowed. We are very family-oriented, but please keep in mind this is a drinking establishment and children must be always supervised and observe the rules listed below, which are in place for their safety and that of other guests. KC Bier Co. reserves the right to ask families that do not abide by our guidelines to leave.
- No climbing on tables, fences and trees — the green space outside the Biergarten is the property of the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority
- No playing in the parking lot or under deck
- No running or throwing rocks in the Biergarten
- Water coolers, cups and dog bowls are not toys.
- Are dogs allowed? If capacity allows, we will accommodate guests with dogs when seating is available in the designated dog seating area as permitted by the City of Kansas City, Missouri, which is the paved area under the tents on the southeast corner of the Biergarten. If this area is full at the time of your arrival, we will gladly put your name on a waitlist and will seat you as soon as we’re able. Patrons with dogs must observe the rules listed below.
- Dogs must always be kept on a leash
- Dogs must remain in the paved seating area
- Dogs are not allowed on the deck, tables or benches.
- KC Bier Co. reserves the right to have dog owners remove unruly dogs, or dogs perceived as a threat to other patrons.
- Are you accepting reservations? If you have a party of 20 or more and wish to make a reservation please click our Reservation tab located under the Visit Us section. Otherwise, we do not accept reservations. All tables in the Bierhalle and Biergarten are communal seating (as is customary in a German-style Biergarten) and are seated on a first-come, first-serve basis.
