A high-octane spin on the recipe for our traditional Festbier, a Vienna-Style Lager, but brewed to a higher gravity and ABV, which classifies the bier as a Doppelbock per German brewing standards. Following six weeks of cold lagering, which creates a smooth and clean mouthfeel, Über-Fest is then transferred into bourbon barrels for a few months before packaging into kegs, which adds a boozy sweetness to the bier’s rich malt flavors of honey, caramel and toasted biscuits.
