Helles has frozen over. How? First, we slowly froze a tank of Heller Lager over five weeks. Then we skimmed the ice off the top to turn it into an Eisbock, or “ice bock.” This process concentrates the alcohol content and flavor of the bier, giving it a tasty punch and potency. It’s malty and crisp — with a kick!
