Brewed in the style of the traditional Rotbier (Red Bier) of Nuremburg, Germany, with 100% imported German malt and hops, and pure Bavarian Andechs lager yeast. KC Bier Co. is donating $1 for every Hook and Lager to the KC Fire Historical Society, an area nonprofit organization leading efforts to restore a decommissioned fire station into a new museum chronicling the history of the KCMO Fire Department. (Hook and Lager is not available for growler fills due to limited quantity)
