Festbier returns to the Bierhalle as our fall seasonal on July 30! To celebrate its official release, the Bierhalle is featuring a special on Festbier, bratwurst and pretzels from 5-10 PM. Patrons can purchase a Festbier/bratwurst combo for only $7 or a Festbier/pretzel combo for $5 while signing up to win a pair of FREE tickets to our KC Oktoberfest, Oct. 4-5 at Crown Center.
The official bier of KC Oktoberfest, Festbier is a reddish-gold, malty Vienna-style lager brewed with 100% imported Vienna and Pilsner malts, which give this bier its biscuit, caramel and honey malt flavors. Bavarian-grown Hallertau Mittelfrüh hops provide moderate bitterness to balance the rich malt, while cold lagering with our Bavarian lager yeast creates a crisp, clean finish.
Festbier has a World Class 96 rating from The Beer Connoisseur magazine, and also was named the 10th best beer of 2018 in the magazine’s Top 100 Beers of 2018.
