World-traveling jazz pianist Mike del Ferro comes to KC Bier Co. all the way from Amsterdam for a special performance in the Bierhalle on Thursday, March 14 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Mike has traveled to 117 countries to date, collaborating with musicians from different cultures and musical backgrounds, combining the bold, spontaneous sounds of jazz improvisation and Western music with the ancient structures of Asian, South American and African traditional music.
An accomplished composer, soloist, accompanist and arranger, he has released 17 albums under his own name and has appeared as a sideman on many albums in genres ranging from jazz to Dixieland to salsa music.
Mike will be joined by Bram Wijnands on bass and Pat Adams on drums.
