Rot Rauch Roggen is a limited edition Spezial bier, brewed with the KC Biermeister’s Homebrew Competition scale-up winner, Eric Martin. This red smoked rye lager has a good balance of malty sweetness, spicy rye, and a touch of smoke aroma and flavor. In German, “rot” translates to red and “Rauch” translates to smoke. Enjoy it before it’s gone!

I-35 Lager
To celebrate American Craft Beer Week, KC Bier Co. and Wichita Brewing Company collaborated on a recipe for a Session IPL named I-35 Lager. The recipe was brewed at both breweries by a combined team of brewers from KC and Wichita. KCBC contributed its German lager yeast and Perle hops for bittering. WBC supplied American Amarillo, Centennial, and Cascade hops for late-kettle and dry hopping. Bier Co. and WBC used the same style of Pilsner, Vienna, and Melanoidin malts but from different Bavarian maltsters. The result is a crisp session lager with soft biscuit and caramel malt flavors, noble bitterness, and citrus and floral hop aromas.
Der Hammer
For hoppy bier lovers looking for a new experience, Der Hammer is our high alcohol, German-style interpretation of an American IPA – but brewed as a lager with 100% German malt and hops. Heavily dry-hopped with Saphir and Huell Melon hops from the famous Hallertau Valley, Der Hammer is overflowing with citrus, melon and flora aromas, and pounds the palate with hop bitterness balanced by a big, clean, slightly sweet pale malt backbone. “Der Hammer” is an idiomatic term used in German to express something “extreme and exceptional.”
Edelweiss
Intense aromas of banana and spice • Rich, bready malt body • Hints of caramel
Dunkel-Klein
Dunkel-Klein may be the “little” version of our regular Dunkel because it is brewed with 20% less alcohol and calories, but it retains all the rich toasted and caramel malt flavors of a true Munich-Style Dunkel in an incredibly full-flavored, but more sessionable version of this classic style.
